36 things you don't know about me.

36 (give or take) things you don't know about me as requested by my sister.

1- Although to some I seem very friendly and personable. I'm really an introvert. My immediate family as a group is fine for a while. Other than that.......GO AWAY!

2- I have a little OCD when it comes to food. Anti buffet (exactly how long has it been out and how many people or children have touched it?) Anti potluck.....I know who brought it and how long it has been out otherwise NO TOUCHY! EEEEW!

3- In the next life I am looking for the scientist who claimed that 90% of our body is water. I can prove him wrong and hopin' for a hell of refund or good law suit. I have cried....and I GAIN weight.

4- Dr. Pepper is my comfort juice. Yeah, I like the flavor etc. but, at work it is my security blanket and I have to have one to carry around and sip on. When at home in my own little world I don't drink it much.

5-You know if I like you by how much you see of my house. I built this one. From the entry you can see the entry, stairs and the living room. If you make it to the Living Room you're OK. But, you can't see any other room from it. If you make it to my kitchen and family area. You have been accepted to the club. Most visiting teachers etc have made it to the living room. I can only think of one who saw our critters in the family room. Disclosure: just because you made it that far does not mean it is clean....if we like you...we know you'll take us how we are.

6-I am 34 but, I still am very dependent on my parents for emotional stability and sanity. They are my voice of reason and sounding board. Okay,,some of my siblings too.

7- As I have gotten older I still have not grown to like or appreciate eggs (no matter how they are cooked the only exception is dads omelet and it is loaded so egg is not the primary ingredient) they stink and have weird texture. I don't like beets, yams or avocados either. Asparagus and brussel sprouts I've mastered.

8- I have to feel Corey beside me when I sleep my hand or my leg is always touching him. The sheets have to cold when I get in bed too. I hate being hot!!!!

9-I love to read books that have at least a tid-bit of real information or I feel like I'm wasting time. I just surprised myself again (since Harry Potter Days) with the Twilight Series. Teen vampire love story soap opera. Every once in a while I fall off of the wagon when I can't find something good to read.

10-I worked in my own little world for ten years before reality hit and it felt like a J-O-B. Who can say that work was their sanity for any amount of time. (weird huh?)

11- If I get really ticked off it is short lived. So much so that I will like you in 5-10 min. I try hard because it is easy for people to walk on me but, I can't hold anger or a grudge.

12- The exception to #11 is that if you mess with my family I will take you out and I don't forget as easily.

13- Seeing other peoples earwax give me the shivers.

14-I love to plant flowers and add colors. I don't like to water and weed. :)

15-I don't eat breakfast or lunch. But in the morning, it is weird I crave sugar. I think my youngest is the same as she goes for cookies, pudding etc.

16-I have a taste for the finer things in food. I like to try new things. citrus crust halibut with lobster sauce is my new favorite.

17- I love to be in the house and have rays of sunshine find me through the windows.

18- Heavy rain and thunder and lightning are comforting.

19- I am afraid of water. I can't swim and hate that I can't control it. The bathtub is enough for me.

20- I wish that my bosom was smaller so ALL of me could be warm in the bathtub.

21- For the first time I am grateful that I have large boobs. Imagine how much bigger my tummy would look without them! They are even! ( I think that's the rule of obesity. If your tummy is bigger than your boobs then...)

22- If I could only have one food group, I would choose the fresh fruits and veggies. Maybe that is why I have winter, even the xmas oranges haven't been good for a long time.

23- Honestly, no matter which president gets elected where headed for hell in a hand basket.

24- I'm a snuggler and a hugger.

25- My wit and sarcasm is what keeps me sane. 9/10 times when I laugh it means "Holy Shit" or "are you freakin' kidding me?!)

26- There is no one smarter than me....I am Buys and I speak my mind.

27-My parents got holly hobbie wall paper for our room once.. It is the only part of a house that made me gag. I hated it!!! They said Stacey and I agreed. I honestly don't know if Stacey even wanted it. If you did, I'll wack ya later. I couldn't even cover it, my posters etc. had to go behind the door.

28- I still love the music I listened to in High School. Def Leppard, Motley Crue, Poison, Bon Jovi, etc. I also love the older stuff Simon and Garfunkle, Neil Diamond and the 70's. I haven't been able to groove to the new stuff.

29- My other personality would be dressed in black leather and traveling the country on a Harley Davidson motorcycle.

30-If I had good communication skills and could focus on and hold an emotion for more than a split second....I would be a damn good writer.

31- The older I get......the more I realize that......I am turning into my parents. (mostly my father, I am still working on his ability to focus, analyse, and artfully tell people what's what.)

32- I would sell my van for a Honda truck....even though it only has 4 seats....which child will stay home???

33-My parents don't know that when the move to their cabin that they will have a neighbor.....Like I said I'm ready to head for the hills like my daddy.....Now, I just have to find a place to live. :)

34- Have you spent much time looking at your grandparents? Then looked at your parents and your in laws trying to figure out what you're in for in the next 20 years?

35- If the boomers were rebels and love child's, GEN X was a problem and GEN Y is from hell......what will the next generation be and what will we call them?

36-Am I passive aggressive if I never carry a broom but, always have one in the corner?
