Howdy folks! Hallelejua finals are over (as of thursday)! I had a prof. I had before.....on the final I wrote "don't feel bad about the grade, I know you can't give everyone A's so, I tried to make it easier on you." Then we did our team presentations......after one team (painful, absolute mess and painful, to top it off they were researching opening a clipart lengirie store????) I told him what I had written at the top...he laughed....then I said...after that group I think I'm safe...give it back. He about fell over. I know I won't end up with less than a B worse case scenario. Dang funny. Unfortunately, I get to start my next class on Monday. No breaks at all until the first of next year. Except for the week I'm playing hookie! Can I just say that learning teams suck?

Kids are out of school in a few weeks. Which means no more fighting about getting homework done when they are dying to play outside. Braydon has already caught a few frogs in the neighborhood so he is happy. He is also liking minor league baseball and is a good hitter. He hangs out with a few of the girls in the neighborhood and they have a "bug club" and he is still making bank with his Saturday lemonade stand. He has no idea what he is going to do with the money, including bday money.....good saver....I don't know who he takes after?? Must not be a Buys....come to think of it, a Hansen either. hmmm.

Oh! Just as a heads up, I am going to leave them a list of all family members phone numbers while the kids are home this summer. (Amy counts too right?) As they fight, tattle, want something to eat etc. they have to rotate through the list and are only allowed to call each person ONCE per day. Thank you in advance from Corey, Vickie and myself. It will save us much time and sanity! We live far enough away that we are confident you will get over the headache by the time we visit again.

Kallee is getting to be bold. The kids went on the bus and I was in the shower. Normally she sticks pretty close to me in the bathroom or my room. Today I got out and I heard "bye mom! I'm going to Alyanas (homeschooled age 9)" and the door shut. ARE YOU FREAKIN' KIDDIN' ME? I was not happy as I ran outside IN MY ROBE and chased her down the street! To top it off she was sassy and very proud of herself.....she's killin' me as of late. I looked in the phone book but there isn't any listing for gypsys.......She is Braydon's little side kick. I am glad that he is a lot nicer to her than most kids. He definately didn't get that from Hailey. (She thinks we are all complete idiots and annoying ;-) )

Hailey does not want to go to yw camp. She does want to go to basketball camp. Who am I to say....why honey? why don't you want to go hang out with the two faced drama queens???? It may be a good week...." Blah. That age sucks. She is doing middle school much better than I did so, it is her choice.

Autumn is getting her yw medallion/recognition whatever Sunday. She has had to work soooo hard. It is going to be very cool. I am even going to dig out the girdle and see if I can't fit into one of my dresses and go see her. I quit Dr. Pepper and gained weight....go figure? So, I'm back on it, no sense of being miserable for nothing. I think it is meds and stress. I'm round in my pictures! :( Oh well. P.S. Crystal light FOCUS does NOT help one focus,,,,,,ENERGY doesn't give energy either. They taste good but, there is not any extra perks. It should be a consumer complaint.

I hired a new employee. He is a cullinary chef and he talks in the third person all of the time. At first it was very funny. However, today my spunky little hispanic girl gave him a mouthful......let's just say she was not focusing on the skill of "maintain self esteem". It was like being a mom trying to keep a straight face while reprimending and trying not to laugh. Bless his heart, he's a different duck and is going to get eaten alive by the other 3 girls. I'm going to have to take him under my wing. Heidi thinks he'll be ok. HEHE
